i have a moblog... kinda

i'm taking my blogging to a whole new level. i have acquired myself a moblog. where i plan to post pictures and snarky and insightful banal commentary.

so why don't we (by we, i mean, canadians) have a good cellphone data plan package? it seems to me that there are so many americans moblogging. i think its because they have the cool camera phones and great data plans to boot! when i'll be paying close to a $100 dollars to get the closest equivalent on my current cellphone plan. i can't even switch providers without losing my number which ties me to my existing provider. lets not even talk about buying a camera phone, it'll cost me an arm, a leg and the value of my current house along with my first-born child.

it takes quite a while for vancouver to start moving into the 21st century in terms of cellphone plans. arguably, we're still living in the stone age. now, excuse me while i club a brontosaurus and chisel out a wheel from a boulder.

new toy

i bought myself a new toy. it takes pictures and it keeps my life organized. it beeps when i have to go somewhere or do something. i follow it's commands almost like a zombie looking for some brain to munch. it is my god in life!

yes, i bought myself a new palm organizer. this would be the 6th in the long line of palms owned by me. much like the macintosh cult-following that has engulfed the world, my obsession lies with palm-like devices. i like how they look, i love how they feel (get your mind out of the gutter). if i could get it built into my head, i would but i can't (yet) so i'll hold off on that idea. this one has a sweet color screen and a small camera to take unsuspecting pictures of idiotic people and lord knows there are a lot of idiotic people out there to take pictures of.

so give me some ideas of things to take pictures of and post some pictures up here. it's been a while since i've posted some pictures. it's about time.

allergy season

its back! allergy season is upon me again and i'm sneezing like a mof0! which isn't really a big deal because i've had allergies since i was 15 years old.

i never understood how people could get attached to their plants. when i lived in a townhouse complex there was this old lady who used to water her plants at 6:30am, incessantly whipsering to them. apparently, the people in the complex have dubbed her crazy plant lady.
me: good morning! how is everything?
crazy plant lady: *whisper, whisper* ... oh its great! woke-up bright and early to talk to my babies.
me: oh yea? so uummm... what exactly do you say to them?
cpl: actually just good things, because they need good energy to grow nice and healthy.
me: while you're at it, could you tell them not to pollinate so much because my allergies this time of year is pretty bad.
cpl: why would you want them to give up the 1 thing that they do in this world to survive? why would you want them to give that up? they do so much for everyone in this world and you want to rob them of their only means of survival to accomodate your petty allergies?
me: ...
cpl: you know they really can't control that right?
what i really should've said was: i wish your plants die a horrible death in a napalm bombing.

unproductive

i'm not a big first-person shooter gamer. actually, i'm not a gamer at all but curses to the people who made unreal tournament 2004.

its very rare that i find a game that can eat up so much of my time. a while ago it was hitman 2 and a few other games. this time around my time has been occupied with this game; actually its not even the full version of the game. it's just the freaking demo!

unreal tournament was never a game that i got into. why? well, i never really had a computer that could handle the suggested specs of it. it always called for a good great graphics card and a pretty fast processor and enough ram to equal the cost of feeding all the starving children in south africa.

its just a beautiful game. of course, that statement is only true if you think well-rendered alien foliage and war machines are pretty. i think i spent a lot of time just running around the different worlds in awe, getting shot at and fraggin' some bots and jumping into the vehicles trying to run over the other characters.
