I agree Karlo, the Zune itself is a really good unit. And I have to admit, I've been lazy to post an update to this post but MS tech support actually got it working again. So yay on that! I think that they should stop trying to make the software seem like itunes. It just isn't going to happen. It should just be a 'Zune Manager' instead of the end all be all media player. I think they should do mp3 file management and ID3 tag editing with a better UI for the podcast/video blog stuff. Personally, I'd love to see them tie into the amazon drm free music store but I think that's probably more of a wet dream at this point.

I own an 80GB Zune, while yes the software is a bit skiddish, the unit is fantastic. I love the fact that that you can play games on it as well, even link up two or more zunes to play multi-player games over the wi-fi. If people weren't so blinded by the ipod marketing machine there would be many more of these flying off the shelf.

Yea, it's really too bad. I wish it lasted longer. The 'moving parts' didn't really bother me too much but apparently one of my more tech savvy friends was complaining that he could 'feel' the spinning parts in it.

Wow, 3 weeks huh? That's kind of pathetic. I don't know how well other Zunes have been. It should be running on flash memory, right? With no moving parts I'm surprised at this.

Oh well, so much for that. I guess I'll stick to my iPods.
