Hypothetical ’someone’ needs to lose some weight post
Ok, so let’s pretend that you just got married and you just came back from your honeymoon. Let’s also say that pre-wedding you were close to your goal weight because of a dedication dieting. I’m guessing that your motivation probably came from wearing a see-through traditional Filipino wedding outfit. However, at your hypothetical honeymoon you kinda pigged out uncontrollably because the food was incredibly awesome and you haven’t eaten carbs in months. So you ate: pancakes, cakes, rice, pizza and meat. Yummy meat. No one can really blame you.
Anyway, when you got back from your whirlwind honeymoon you eventually step onto the weighing scale and see exactly how much jiggly fat weighs. So you decide to lose weight in a somewhat public forum so maybe expect a bit more tweets/blog post about hating the gym, grumbling stomachs and rabbit food. *
Can you believe that there is a wordpress plugin for dieting?

It’s 75% about the diet my friend. More importantly, make sure that the diet doesn’t wear you down. Sure, you have to eat healthy stuff, but it doesn’t mean it has to be boring. You’ll be amazed at what flavour a fresh salsa will give you. (Not the processed crap) Freshly cut tomatoes, onions, cilantro, guacamole. Spread it over a freshly baked Salmon, or grilled skinless chicken breast, yum! And, don’t neglect the treats. You remember how I was with the chocolate-related treats at work? Sure, I had some everyday, but only a couple of squares for the day. Just to give you the taste
As for the other 25% (being the exercise), start using that damn yoga DVD I lent ya
Doesn’t have to be too strenuous though. I only do it 3 - 4 times/week @ 20 minutes per session. 60 - 80 minutes per week for a healthier you
hahaaaa. do good because you have to make room for all the eating you’re going to do at Christmas! we bought the 10 minute trainer dvd. i tried it twice, the second time i only made it 5 mins. hahaa. i have to do it again. oh and fresh salsa is heaven, but i guess it isn’t so healthy when you pair it with the lime tostitos. hahaaaa. good luck!
That’s interesting actually! I do have the Billy Blanks BootCamp DVD but I usually last 5 minutes before I start convulsing in pain and from being out of breath.
Marco: You got any good salsa recipes you can linky? and how about some lime tostitos alternatives?!
Welcome to the good liiifeee.. j/k
Fresh Salsa recipe: One tomato, one white onion, one guac, cilantro. Dice up the tomato, onion, cilantro and guac. Mix together. Enjoy. Simple, yet effective
For the chips, go for the Old Dutch Restaurante *Baked* chips. Make sure they’re baked, for god sakes! The non-baked ones are killer for fat, salt and the other yummy things that make it so bad. Take the chips in a bowl and mix in a freshly sqeezed lime and a touch of freshly ground sea salt. (Not too much. The chips have enough sodium.)
Or, mix the lime with the salsa above, if you’re having with the chips. In fact, if you’re using the salsa, you won’t need the sea salt at all. Personal preference.
Wow, this is a recurring theme among bloggers… (Including me) — P90X is awesome, and I’ve lost weight on NutriSystem (although I had a very bad weekend this past one) but it does work.
