Another mp3 player!?

So I bought a new mp3 player, I bought the Sansa e280. Why? Well, (1) it’s cheap… you can’t beat $130 dollars for an 8gig (expandable to 2) multimedia device and (2) it’s cheap (plus it works in linux, which I’ve decided to switch to).

So here’s how you get it for cheap-o. First you go to futureshop.ca and print out the Sansa e280 price listing for $149.99. Next you take said print out and bring it to bestbuy, and say “Hey, I want to buy your Sansa e280 for $149.99 minus 10% of the difference of your price ($229.99) and futureshop’s.” Pay the poor college student, then walk out of the store with a big smile on your face. Go for all-you-can-eat sushi to celebrate.

Honestly, I’m pretty happy with it. I don’t need much in terms of an mp3 player. Just a way for me to listen to music and maybe watch the occasional video (ahh anime). I honestly don’t need all of the recording features, or even the FM tuner but the features are definitely nice to have.

Now hopefully I don’t drop it into the gym toilet like my beloved iriver clix.

I've never been good at writing about me/site pages. It seems too much like self-promotion and being the stereotypical passive-agressive asian; I would rather walk around a crowd and into a train rather than interact with a bunch of people. I'm shy that way, which also contradicts this website that talks about me and my life. My friends and family would care to disagree though, since they've seen my crazy & loud side. More »
