Hi Garbage people, Hi City? Talk already!

Ok look, I’m usually right smack dab in the middle of union and management issues from working at ICBC. So I understand how the tension and stress can get on everyone’s nerves resulting in a non-dialog exchange stalemate never before seen since grade 1 sandboxes.

Honestly though, the city is dirty. More importantly my house’s garbage is really starting to pile to the point that I even bought another garbage bin. Note: I’m really cheap, so this is really bad.

Fruit flies, ants, rats, racoons, skunks and mosquitoes have invaded my quiet neighborhood. Now, I’m not the neatest guy in the world, but I hate flies and mosquitoes. Absolutely effin’ hate them. I have visions of them perching on my food and me dying of the leprosy seconds later. This beautiful city is slowly starting to turn in to a garbage dump. Seriously, how can you justify charging this much in property tax when I’m living in a mountain of garbage?

Update: I can’t believe that I just paid someone $100 to haul my garbage away. I’m taking this out of your property tax city!!

Another reason why youtube makes me cry

So this morning, I was doing my usual morning routine of emails and administrative work when I saw a post on digg about some crazed Britney fan. Who could resist?!  So I clicked.

This thing really scared me, and this as well. Not because it was a guy (girl?) crying his eyes out because everyone was making fun of Britney Spears, but because this was really the type of guy that ends up going on a murderous rampage in a sheep’s farm with a butter knife.

So dude, I feel for you but I think you need to step out of that emo tent (probably made of Britney Spears memorabilia) and get some sunshine, Sunshine.  I also want to tell you that, drugs (just in case you didn’t know) are really bad and should be avoided when watching Britney. It’s like drinking and driving, oil and water, Crips and Bloods; they just don’t mix well and in general a pretty bad idea.

… But seriously, don’t kill me, butter knives are dull and painful. Thanks!

Why I find facebook freaky.

So let me make 1 thing clear, I am addicted to facebook and at the time of writing this post I am signing up for some 12 step program to eventually delete my account. But let me explain why I have a hard time pulling myself away.

I use facebook, for the train wreck that it represents. First, I like the whole re-connecting with friends angle that it has and for whatever reason it seems like everyone (including their mothers) are on facebook. However that is not the reason why I am sucked into it. Also, I enjoy watching people’s walls who is meeting up with who and who is having sex with what (yes, you heard me… WHAT).

I love watching people who just don’t understand that other people can easily see what they do. For example, some old co-workers who post their freaky weekend photo get-aways (which is most times fun to see) or update their status messages about how their STD is really starting to spread. Usually my first reaction would be to cringe and then browse away, but for whatever reason I look and am just freaked out and yet I continue browsing.

Tennis once again

I’ve been playing tennis again and I’ve missed it. You see, I have a love hate relationship with the sport. I love it because it is one of the few sports that I feel that I have a fighting chance with and I hate it because it takes a toll on your body plus I also loathe the fact that a 16 year old pro can kick my 29 year old ass.

It definitely beats going to the gym and running like a hamster.

I've never been good at writing about me/site pages. It seems too much like self-promotion and being the stereotypical passive-agressive asian; I would rather walk around a crowd and into a train rather than interact with a bunch of people. I'm shy that way, which also contradicts this website that talks about me and my life. My friends and family would care to disagree though, since they've seen my crazy & loud side. More »
